You can access this Help file by pressing F1 at any time or by clicking the word Help in the menu bar along the top of the screen.
The Help file uses a split screen where the Contents, Index, and Search tabs remain visible on the left and the topic content displays on the right. You can show and hide the left side by clicking Help Topics at the top left of the Help window. The Contents tab stays synchronized with the topics you jump to.
For long topics, use the scroll bar and button, or click in the topic, and then press ctrl+end to jump to the bottom of the page. Press ctrl+home to jump to the top.
When you want to return to a topic you were viewing before jumping to another topic, click Back (repeatedly) to revisit topics.
If you need help there are many ways to get it:
1. Please start by reading this Help Manual. It answers 95% of the questions we receive!
2. View the many Video Tutorials that explain how to get the most out of your new program. Watching these is like having Pete Thayer sit down with you and explain how to do everything!
3. Chat with other users of the software at the User's Forum. Some very experienced users, as well as the staff of Thayer Birding Software, are there to answer any question û and there are no dumb questions!
4. Browse the Knowledgebase Articles to find the answer to your question. We highly recommend this.
5. If you really, really are stuck, you can get technical help at the Thayer Birding Software Help Desk. Here you will find answers to almost every technical question you may have. Here you may Open a Ticket and send it to the technical support staff. All questions are answered via email. Phone support is not available.
